Recognising those who make an impact
The Kaharagian honours system seeks to recognise individuals who make a meaningful contribution—including those whose service and dedication might otherwise go unnoticed. We welcome nominations for anyone deserving of recognition.
Open to All
Anyone may submit a nomination, whether Kaharagian or not. We welcome nominations from across the world for individuals who have served Kaharagia, its people, or the values we uphold.
Anyone may be nominated, regardless of nationality. Both Kaharagians and non-Kaharagians may be considered for honours in recognition of their service, achievements, or contributions.
Self-nominations are not accepted, and nominees should not be made aware of their nomination, as the process is intended to be confidential.
Criteria for Nomination
Nominations may be considered for individuals who have demonstrated:
- Outstanding service to Kaharagia or its people
- Exceptional achievement in a field of endeavour
- Significant charitable or humanitarian contribution
- Quiet dedication and service that often goes overlooked
Each nomination is assessed on its individual merits, taking into account the nature, duration, and impact of the service or achievement described.
The Review Process
All nominations are treated in strict confidence and undergo a thorough review process before any recommendation is made to the Sovereign.
Nominations are reviewed by the Chancellery of the Royal Kaharagian Honours and the Honours Committee. Together, these bodies assess each nomination against established criteria and provide recommendations to the Sovereign.
As fons honorum, the Sovereign retains the sole authority to approve the conferral of any honour. The decision to grant an honour is ultimately a personal act of the Crown.
Important Information
Submission of a nomination does not imply or guarantee the conferral of an honour.
Not all nominations will result in the conferral of an honour. The Chancellery and Honours Committee are not obliged to provide reasons for their recommendations, and the Sovereign’s decision is final.
