Recognition of service, merit, and national milestones
Medals recognise service, merit, or participation in programmes or milestones of national significance. Medals are recorded in the Register of Kaharagian Medals.
Prince’s Medal for Merit
The Prince’s Medal for Merit is awarded at the discretion of the Prince for meritorious service to the Principality. It represents a personal recognition from the Sovereign of contributions that have advanced the welfare or standing of Kaharagia.
Kaharagian Service Medal
The Kaharagian Service Medal recognises sustained service to the Principality. It is awarded to those who have demonstrated long and faithful dedication in their roles, whether in public service, community engagement, or other fields of endeavour.
Medal of Merit for Blood Donations
The Medal of Merit for Blood Donations is awarded through the Lifeblood Kaharagia programme. The medal is conferred in four classes, recognising sustained commitment to blood donation:
- Fourth Class — Bronze
- Third Class — Silver
- Second Class — Gold
- First Class — Gold with Laurel
Each class represents a milestone in the recipient’s contribution to the national blood supply, acknowledging the life-saving impact of regular donation.
Royal Family Service Medal
The Royal Family Service Medal is awarded for personal service to the Royal Family. It recognises those who have served the Sovereign or members of the Royal Household with distinction and dedication.
Nationality Medal
The Nationality Medal commemorates the grant of Kaharagian nationality. It is presented to new citizens as a mark of welcome to the national community and as a symbol of their new bond with the Principality.
